My name is Rafael and I am a Product Manager. I have more than thirteen years of experience helping product management teams reach their full potential - from building a product from scratch to creating growth and scale strategies to consolidated products.

Currently living in Portugal (Lisbon), but always a Brazilian :). I have a Business degree, Project Management specialization and an unfinished Economics degree, for reasons. I have been building stuff since I was a child and now I do this for work :), so I am quite happy with my career. I love learning, I am currently studying Python (I want to get a AI nanodegree, so python will be handy). I am also a generalist, working close to Marketing and IT for almost 13 years now, but I do love my powerpoints (replaced by Miro) and spreadsheets aswell (usually I am very friendly with the finance guys aswell). I love jokes, I love wine and food (I cook a little) and I try (poorly) to play the guitar. Looking forward to speaking with you guys!

I think that building empathy, trust and constant feedback loops is key to get our goals achieved. I also strongly believe that investing in people is the ultimate way of getting really great product experiences out in the market. Therefore, I am an advocate for people development, communication, goal settings and constant feedback loops where we can test the waters whenever its possible. As Peter Drucker once said "Culture eats strategy for breakfast”
